Wonderful Week

What a wonderful week we've had! The boys transferred schools and now live with us full time. They love the school and we are getting on a great schedule. They're helping with chores, doing homework, and going to bed on time.

The weather is beautiful and cold. I miss being warm, but this is nice snuggling weather.

Brandon is talking (and crying) more and more about Tommy. For so long, it was just him blurting out things like "Tommy is dead". Now he is telling me how much he misses him and can't remember him. I've already got therapy lined up for him.

Not much more to update. I cut my fingernail, so I have to keep it taped until it grows out enough to fix it. Honestly, that is the worst thing that has happened to me in many weeks. That is so nice to say!

I am delighted that the boys are living with you guys again full time! I am glad to hear that your only bad news is your fingernail. I still need to send you your little something in the mail. Hopefully I can get to the post office this weekend as long as the weather isn't horrible. Take Care.

I am so glad to hear the boys are back with you full time. Hugs to Brandon, I can't imagine at his age what it must be like to lose a brother, but I lost my dad at age 6 and loss like that anytime during childhood is life changing and very hard to handle. I am glad to hear you have therapy lined up for him. My sister and I both did well with therapy and it really does help to have an outlet and be able to talk.

Hope your fingernail grows quick. Ouch that sounds painful, but not a totally week ruiner! :-)

I'm so glad the boys are back with you and you've gotten into a groove with your schedule. I'm sure you all miss Tommy so much. I'm sorry it's been especially hard on Brandon recently. And I'm still sorry to hear you cut your fingernail. Ouch.
